The Mothership

Commissioned by owner/operator and fellow artist JoEllen Depakakibo, in 2019. Pinhole Coffee stands out as a warm, inviting, and beautifully designed space filled with Bay Area art. It was an honor to create The Mothership for this beloved Bernal neighborhood community hub. Interior space designed by architect Ben Frombgen, featuring work by other local artists including Beth Naumann and Leah Rosenberg.

The Mothership features three different Neon sculptural shapes. One of them, an 18mm clear tube filled with pure Neon gas, encircles a pendant globe lamp installed as part of the installation.
